In Ribpley, Ohio, the Kennerd family of six were huddling for safety amidst a storm inside their mobile home.  But the torrential downpour flooded nearby Red Oak Creek, sweeping their home away.  Sadly, the pregnant mother drowned, along with two of her children.  The father and two sons managed to survive.

Many parts of the country have been dealing with flood problems filling the news with images of houses floating down rivers.  If you happen to live in a flood plane, it might be a good time to think about where you would evacuate in case of an emergency.
