Children Murdered by Neighbors

• Police in Nashville, Tennessee, arrested the neighbor of a 12-year-old girl who was strangles to death in April. Forty-five-year-old Roy D. Coons was indited on two counts of 1st-degree murder, 1 count each of 1st degree premeditated murder, attempted rape of a child, and aggravated burglary. (USA Today, 9-27-3017)
