Children are all too often the unintended victims of gun violence, felled by errant bullets fired by idiots shooting their gun in a reckless manner. Sometimes they are targeted directly. It’s a significant problem: Gun violence has recently overtaken car accidents to become the #1 killer of children in the United States. Here is just a sampling of the kids killed by guns that are happening dozens of times every day:
