Boys Survives 100 Foot Fall
It’s not often that you fall off a cliff and live to talk about it. Yet that is exactly what happened to a 13-year-old boy from North Dakota, who fell while vacationing with family at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.
He was hiking with his family when he slipped on the edge of a cliff at the Bright Angel Point Trail. He plunged nearly 100 feet, and it took emergency crews two hours to rescue him. Let’s hope he makes a full recovery.
Let this story be a reminder to everyone: Hiking is wonderful, and we should all spend more time in the great outdoors. But be sure to keep your kids close and make sure they understand the danger, especially when talking selfies, which has led to many fatal plunging off cliffs in recent years.
