Revived by a pothole
An 80-year-old man in Northern India was being transported to his family’s home for cremation after dying of heart failure at a local hospital. But along the journey the ambulance transporting his body hit a deep pothole, which somehow jolted the man back to life. After hitting the pothole, Darshan Singh Brar’s grandson saw his grandpa’s hand move, took his pulse, and alerted the driver that his heart was beating. They rerouted the man back to the hospital. (The Week, Feb. 2, 2024, p. 12) You see? Even potholes can serve a productive purpose.

One Very Lucky Girl
In Aberdeen, Idaho, police are investigating a crash that ejected a 4-year-old girl, Embre Viles, from a potato truck. Miraculously the preschooler is not seriously injured.
