Teen Murders Brother in Argument Over Computer
In Coral Springs, Florida, a 15-year-old was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder after stabbing his 14-year-old brother to death with a kitchen knife. The incident apparently happened as they argued over the volume on their home computer. No one else was home at the time. (USA Today, 10-28-2009, p. 7A)

Brother Kills Two Younger Sisters
In Massachusetts, a deranged brother killed his two younger sisters; Bianca, age 5, and Samantha, 17. Police shot and killed 23-year-old Kerby Revelus as he held the bloody kitchen knife and at-tempted to attack a third sister. Motive for the incident was unknown. (USA Today, 3-30-2009, p. 3A)

Boy Shoots Sister Over Argument
In Carlisle, Pennsylvania, police say a 9-year-old boy got his grandmother’s shot-gun, loaded it, and then proceeded to shoot his younger sister at close range. The 6-year-old girl was recovering at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and was expected to survive wounds to her left arm and torso. Police say they can’t charge the boy with a crime because he’s under 10 years of age. (USA Today, 7-14-2009, p. 5A)

Knife Throwing Boy Injures Brother
In Storm Lake, Iowa, police say a 10-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault after he apparently threw a knife at his 9-year-old brother in a fit of anger.  It landed on its mark, stabbing the younger child in the back. (1/29/2015)
