A 3-year-old girl was critically injured just a few days before Christmas, after being hit by a forklift driven by her father.

The accident occurred at around 5:00 P.M. in an industrial warehouse near Dillingham Boulevard in Honolulu, Hawaii. The girl was apparently hanging out with her father at work at the time of the accident. The forklift was backing up when it ran her over, seriously injuring her legs. She was rushed to a local hospital, where she remained in critical condition. Police said they did not expect to file charges in the accident.
