Recently in Sweden, a public broadcaster was planning a children’s series that would educate kids on the human body.  In order to promote the show, they created a one minute cartoon that featured animated genitals singing and dancing.  The promotion raised eyebrows and created a controversy, but not necessarily for the reasons you might think.  because the penis was portrayed with mustache and the vagina with long eyelashes, some critics say this spot “reinforced gender stereotypes,” according to the program’s director.
