5-25-07 An Alaskan police officer shot and killed a female moose, after it tried to trample an 8-year-old boy. The child was outside playing between houses when the moose appeared and charged, said police spokesman Lt. Paul Honeman. The boy was kicked by the moose, but suffered only minor injuries.
