Whenever people engage in gun fights, it is often children who are caught in the middle.
Here are some of the stories involving the youngest victims of gang violence and
careless gun use.

Child Shot While Sleeping
In Kansas City, Kansas, a five-year-old girl was injured in a drive-by shooting that occured outside her home.  She was sleeping in her bed when she was stuck by an errant bullet. (July 13, 2015)

Child Takes Bullet During Dispute
In St. Louis, Missouri, a 3-year-old boy was being treated for a gunshot wound after being shot during a dispute between two women at O’Fallon Park. The boy was listed in stable condition. (May 2015)

Child shot in Road Rage Incident
In Philadelphia, an incident of road rage that occurred at a congested intersection ended with shots being fired. A 7-year-old girl was caught in the crossfire and wounded. (May 2015)
