Truck Rear End Stops School Bus

May 18, 2015 In Polson, Montana, a stopped school bus was rear ended by a pick-up truck as it was letting off students, sending 3 kids to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  According to highway patrol trooper, Terry Rosenbaum, 10 or 11 students were on the bus when the accident occurred, which happened about 3 miles west of town.  One child was getting off the bus at the time, and was thrown several feet by the collusion.

Four Days, Three Dead Babies

Des Moines, Iowa is dealing with a rash of infant deaths from apparent accidental suffocation.  Three babies died within a four day period this week, either from their parents rolling over on them in bed, or because a loose blanket was left in the crib.  Loose blankets can increase the risk of SIDS by trapping carbon dioxide around the baby’s airway.

Today’s Class Assignment: Friendly Letters to Cop Killers
