When Failure to Listen Costs Teens Their Life
Teenagers aren’t exactly known for listening. In fact, they tend to gravitate toward the precise opposite of listening. Sometimes they pay a heavy price for this failure to heed advice.
In East Chicago, a 14 year-old-boy was playing along lake Michigan. Adults warned him not to jump off the breakwall into the water along the lake’s northwestern Indiana shoreline. You can probably guess what happens next. He jumped off anyway, and lost his life because of it, drowning in the turbulant water.
