In Frisco, Texas, a 6-year-old girl and her sister were admiring one of those claw arcade games; you know, the type where you put in the money and then try to grab a toy with a metal claw to win that prize. That’s when her older sister apparently dared her to crawl through the small opening so they could help themselves to the loot. She did, and astonishingly, was able to make inside. Not so astonishingly, she found she couldn’t get back out again. So firefighters had to be called to rescue the girl inside the glass case.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. In fact, there have been a number of other incidents involving small children trying to retrieve the toys inside these games, and then finding themselves stuck among the offerings. Talk about being caught with you hand in the cookie jar. Newer versions are supposed to come equipped with a safety slat that prevents this sort of thing, but there are still many older machines in use all across the world.
