Thirty-eight-year-old Everett George, a former corrections officer, was sentenced to life in prison for killing his two children. In Dayton, Ohio, 28-year-old China Arnold was sentenced to life in prison without parole for burning her baby daughter to death in a microwave after fighting with her boyfriend. (USA Today, 9-9-2008, 3A)

Mother Kills Kids After Fight
In the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, Coraly Campos, age 21, was found guilty of stabbing her two young children to death, ages one and three. Prosecutors say that after a fight with her partner on August 10, 2010, the woman threatened that he would never see the kids again. She then is said to have beat them, stabbed them with a kitchen knife and set the house on fire. (USA Today, 3-14-2011, 9A)
