A child who was supposed to be waiting on the lawn while his family washed the family car, stepped out into the lot and was struck and killed by a truck. The incident occurred on a Saturday night in July in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Twenty month old Greco Gozez-Bustillos was in the rock and grass area at M & M car wash. He was waiting with his mother and another child while the father was cleaning their car. It took just a moment for him to step out into the pavement and get hit. The toddler was rushed to Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries a short time later. The driver of the truck was cited for not having a drivers license or proof of insurance, but police did not expect to bring any other charges.
