Girls Body Found In Dumpster

In California, a frantic search for a missing 8-year-old girl came to a tragic end.  This past Monday, when her body was found in a trash bin behind the Tannery Arts Center in Santa Cruz.  The child had been missing since about 5:30 pm Sunday evening, where she had been riding her scooter at her apartment complex. Electrified Lamp Posts In Peoria, Illinois, an 8-year-old boy was electrocuted when he touched a light pole during a girl’s softball tournament in July. In a lawsuit filed by the family, Annette Rees of Jacksonville says the Limestone Girl’s Softball Association knew about the faulty lights but went ahead with the tournament anyway. Grandma Slain to Assault Her Grandchild

A woman who was baby-sitting her two grandchildren had her throat slit by a home intruder, who then sexually assaulted one of the kids. The mother of the two children returned home at around 12:30 A.M. to find her 59 year old mother dead in the garage, lying in a pool of blood. Boy Fights Off Kidnapper

In Menasha, Wisconsin, police say a 23-year-old boy managed to fight off a man who tried to kidnap him.  They boy was skateboarding along the sidewalk at the time.  He had apparently fallen down, when he was grabbed by a man who tried to drag him into an SUV.
