Poorly Secured Cargo Takes Another Child’s Life

In Emmett, Idaho, a 5-year-old boy has died from injuries he received after the car he was riding in was hit by a salt block.  They boy was riding with his family when a salt block fell from a truck in southwestern Idaho, going through the windshield of his car. Trucker Kills Family In Head-On Collision

7-14-07 A tractor-trailer veered across the center lane of a highway Saturday, causing a head-on collision with another car. The accident killed 5 members of a family in the other car, which included a woman and her four young children, according to police reports. Child Sitting In Woman’s Lap Dies In Car Crash

6-6-07 A 5-year-old girl from Grand Junction, Colorado, was killed on Wednesday, while she was sitting unrestrained on the lap of the front seat passenger of a car driven by her father. He made a left turn into oncoming traffic on U.S. 50, colliding with a van, according to the Colorado state patrol. The child, Elizabeth Hatch, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
